NOTICE to City residents – City public works crews are actively working to cleanup trees, limbs, and other debris from today’s storm event.
Our first priority is getting streets re-opened and coordinating with utility companies on road closings in areas of down lines. We will then focus on assisting residents with haul-off of limbs and brush.
We will start hauling piles that are placed out along the edge of City streets early next week. Residents have until Wed June 22 to place debris along the streets. After that date, you will need to make your own arrangements for hauling and disposal.
When placing piles, please avoid blocking sidewalks, fire hydrants, storm sewer inlets, and culvert openings. We will also be running street sweepers over the next several days, to handle the smaller debris.
