City Dump Regulations
For Residential Refuse Only. RESIDENTS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON PREMISES WHEN ATTENDANT IS NOT ON DUTY.
THE DUMP IS NOT INTENDED FOR USE BY CONTRACTORS, LANDSCAPERS, AND TREE TRIMMING SERVICE PROVIDERS.
Special Permit: Truckloads of loose material may only be unloaded with the presentation of a Special Use Permit to the attendant on duty. Special Use Permits are obtained in the Office of the City Clerk prior to the dump visit. Special Use Permit required for any mattresses, furniture, brush, yard waste, lumber and other renovation materials, etc.
One (1) Trip permitted per day – REFUSE MUST BE CONTAINED TO THE BED OF THE TRUCK OR A TRAILER, BOTH WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
ALL FEES MUST BE PAID BEFORE DUMPING.
Additional fees include: mattress $14, box spring $14, small furniture $5, medium furniture $15, large furniture $25, small trailer (5×7) $35, large trailer (6×10) $60, truck bed $35.
Prohibited Materials: Shingles, batteries, tires, paint or chemical cans (unless empty and dried); Televisions, computers and appliances; No emptying of metal burning barrels.
City of Jerseyville is not responsible for items thrown away.
CITY OF JERSEYVILLE/ATTENDANT ON DUTY HAS THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ANYONE FROM DUMPING.
